Ranked by our own live ReserveAmerica tracking data, not guesswork. This is a snapshot of parks we’re actively watching — it grows and sharpens every month as our tracking coverage expands.
Verified by the Camp.land team, July 2026Ranking reflects 10 parks currently in Camp.land's live tracking rotation (of 80 Texas state parks we cover overall) — as of Jul 3, 2026.
Camp.land scans ReserveAmerica for a rotating set of Texas state parks roughly every 30 minutes — every park with an active customer cancellation alert, plus a rotating group of popular parks. Each scan records, per campsite and date, whether the site is currently reserved or available.
Booked-out rate = reserved campsite-nights ÷ (reserved + available) campsite-nights, for whatever dates we currently have live data on for that park. We exclude walk-up-only and non-bookable sites from this calculation — those reflect site type, not demand, and counting them would overstate how booked-out a park actually is.
This is a live snapshot, not a multi-week trend — most parks below currently have data for one or a handful of dates (shown per row). We’re not going to dress that up: small samples mean less confidence, which is exactly why the sample size is printed next to every rank instead of hidden. As our tracking rotation covers more parks and accumulates longer history, this page will incorporate true fill-rate-over-time metrics automatically — no manual rewrite required, it reads straight from the same live tables.
