What you are choosing between:

• Chisos Basin — 56 standard no-hookup sites across three loops at ~5,400 feet, ringed by the Window's granite walls. Coolest nights in the park; trailheads out the door.
• Rio Grande Village — 93 standard no-hookup sites, the largest campground, near the river, the store, and the Boquillas crossing.
• Cottonwood — 28 standard sites plus 1 group tent area on the quiet west side, closest to Santa Elena Canyon.

There are no hookups anywhere. Summer is brutally hot — most visitors aim for November through March, which is also when booking gets hardest.
