Wawona Campground — Yosemite National Park is a federal campground booked on recreation.gov, where the current nightly fee is shown at checkout. It has Standard (no hookups), Tent only, Walk-to, RV (no hookups), Group sites.
Upper, Lower and North Pines, Wawona and Hodgdon Meadow use five-month reservation blocks released on the 15th at 7 a.m. Pacific. Arrival periods run from the 15th through the following month’s 14th. Seasonal openings and temporary changes can differ; a release date does not guarantee availability.
Wawona Campground — Yosemite National Park has 96 total sites. 63 Standard (no hookups) sites in the C loop, 20 Tent only sites in the C loop, 10 Walk-to sites in the B loop, 2 RV (no hookups) sites in the A loop, 1 Group sites in the A loop.
It depends on what you're looking for. For Families: Loop C standard sites are close to the river and central to camp. For Tents: The Loop B walk-to sites offer a quieter, more tucked-away tent experience. For RVs: Only 2 RV-designated sites in Loop A — Wawona isn't a major RV destination inside Yosemite.
