Upper, Lower and North Pines, Wawona and Hodgdon Meadow use five-month reservation blocks released on the 15th at 7 a.m. Pacific. Arrival periods run from the 15th through the following month’s 14th. Seasonal openings and temporary changes can differ; a release date does not guarantee availability.

It depends on what you're looking for. For Families: Standard sites are the easiest to access and closest to the entrance road. For Tents: The hike-to and walk-to sites offer more privacy for tent campers willing to carry gear a short distance. For RVs: Standard sites accommodate small to mid-size rigs; there are no hookups anywhere in the campground.
