Isle du Bois sits on the south shore of Ray Roberts Lake. People come for a sandy swimming beach, largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie fishing, DORBA mountain bike trails, and a full-service boat ramp. The cross-timber forest here is post oak, blackjack oak, and eastern red cedar. The lake is big enough for powerboating and jet skis. The Johnson Branch unit across the lake is a separate entry.
