Method 1: The 5-Month Window

Texas state parks open reservations exactly 5 months in advance at 8 a.m. Central. For Enchanted Rock, be on ReserveAmerica at 7:55 a.m., logged in, payment info saved, and your target campsite already open in a tab.

The primitive walk-in sites (Summit, Turkey Pass) open at the same time. If the tent sites are gone, these are your fallback.

Method 2: Check for Cancellations Yourself

Cancellations at Enchanted Rock happen every single day. People book 5 months out, plans change, and sites open back up. The problem is catching them before someone else does.
