Watch a recreation.gov campground. If we never ping an opening, the camp.land fee comes back.
Pay camp.land to watch one recreation.gov campground and date window. When a matching site opens, we email a booking link from alerts@camp.land. If that ping never goes out before the window ends, we refund the camp.land alert fee only — $10 one-time or that month's $5 Pro fee. We do not book Recreation.gov for you, and we do not refund a failed checkout or a park we do not monitor.
A paid camp.land monitor for one recreation.gov campground on the watch list plus your date window. Camp.land emails you when a matching site opens. If that ping never goes out before the window ends, camp.land refunds the alert subscription fee you paid — the $10 one-time fee or that month's $5 Pro fee. The guarantee is the ping, not a booked campsite. Parks we do not monitor are not covered.
We do not book Recreation.gov for you. We do not refund a failed Recreation.gov checkout, a missed two-minute booking window, or a park we do not monitor, including Texas state parks and sold-out inventory we never watched. The refund cap is the camp.land fee you paid. Recreation.gov camping fees, taxes, and any other vendor charges stay yours.
Yes. Recreation.gov owns the inventory and the reservation. Camp.land only emails a booking link when a matching site opens. You complete checkout on Recreation.gov. If that checkout fails or the site is taken, that is not a camp.land refund. We do not reserve, hold, or pay for the campsite.
After your date window ends, camp.land checks whether an alert_sent record exists for that alert_id. Zero pings means the camp.land fee is refunded to the original Stripe payment, or you request a refund with the alert_id at hello@camp.land. Timing is after the window closes, not while dates are still open. The refund is the fee you paid us, nothing more.
After the window ends with zero pings, cite the alert_id from your dashboard email. We refund the camp.land fee only.
