The refund cap is the camp.land fee you paid. Recreation.gov camping fees, taxes, and any other vendor charges stay yours.
Yes. Recreation.gov owns the inventory and the reservation. Camp.land only emails a booking link when a matching site opens. You complete checkout on Recreation.gov. If that checkout fails or the site is taken, that is not a camp.land refund. We do not reserve, hold, or pay for the campsite.
If your trip starts without a matching opening email beforehand, contact hello@camp.land with your alert ID for refund review. We check your purchase and the email timing before issuing the one-time camp.land fee refund. An email sent after arrival does not invalidate the guarantee. Earlier one-time purchases retain their original refund terms. The guarantee does not cover Recreation.gov fees.
